The following VMP mounts come with a mast that will extend from 18" to 30".
If you need more length than the 86"(7.17 ft) then you can convert the mounts to work with 1 1/2 NPT Threaded Plumbing pipe. To convert the mount you will need the AK-1 and either this plate the CP-1 or the CCA-1(Cathedral Ceiling Adapter). When you convert the mount to work with the 1 1/2 NPT Threaded plumbing pipe, you will no longer use the mast that is included with the mount. 1 1/2 inch plumbing pipe is available at most home improvement stores or plumbing supply stores. Most home improvement stores will cut the pipe to the length you need for a small charge. Both ends of the pipe also need to be threaded. They will also do this for a small charge. Most home improvement stores or plumbing supply stores carry this pipe in various pre-cut lengths. They also sell 10 ft sections that can be cut and threaded for approximately twenty dollars.
